50 years of Serving Toledo Bend Lake

The TBLA Board of Directors meets at 6:30 p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, also at the Sabine Council on Aging (SCOA). These board meetings are open to all members. The business and activities of the Association are planned and conducted during these meetings. For example, status of under-way projects, plans for new projects, financial matters, arrangement for guest speakers are some of the topics that are discussed.

We invite visitors and guests to come to all of our General Membership meetings.  Come join us.

Association Meetings

TBLA holds monthly meetings at 7 p.m. on the 1st Thursday of each month at the Sabine Council on Aging (SCOA) located on Highway 191, ¾ mile north of the intersection of Highway 6 and 191 at Toledo Town. TBLA provides the meal entree, with attendees bringing a complimentary side dish or dessert.   Meetings often involve a guest speaker or special program designed to educate and enhance members of the challenges facing the Lake and surrounding communities.

Each October we issue a special invitation for guests to join us at our annual outdoor fish fry, which is prepared by the TBLA members. The November meeting includes a Thanksgiving dinner and the December meeting is a Christmas dinner.
